Welcome to Ledgerly (“the Service”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ledgerly, an AI‑powered accounting and invoicing platform designed for self‑employed individuals and small businesses.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service immediately.

• “Service” refers to Ledgerly and all related features.
• “User”, “You” refers to anyone accessing or using the Service.
• “We”, “Us”, “Our” refers to Ledgerly.
• “Subscription” refers to any paid plan offered by Ledgerly.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use Ledgerly.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Ledgerly provides tools including, but not limited to:

• Invoicing
• Expense tracking
• AI‑powered categorisation
• Dashboards and analytics
• Document storage
• Automated reminders
• AI assistance

Features may change or improve over time.

You agree to:

• Use the Service legally and ethically
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Provide accurate financial information
• Not misuse, hack, or reverse‑engineer the platform
• Not upload harmful or illegal content

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

Ledgerly operates on a recurring subscription model.

• Payments are processed automatically via Stripe
• You authorise recurring charges until cancellation
• Failed payments may result in temporary suspension
• Prices may change; you will be notified in advance

If a free trial is offered:

• You may use premium features during the trial
• At the end of the trial, your subscription will renew automatically unless cancelled
• You may cancel anytime during the trial period

Refunds follow our official Refund Policy.

Key points:

• 14‑day refund guarantee for new users
• Refunds not available after 14 days
• Refunds not available if more than 10 invoices were created
• Refunds not available if premium AI features were heavily used

We take privacy seriously.

• Your data is encrypted
• We do not sell your data
• We only share data with essential service providers (e.g., Stripe)
• You may request deletion of your data at any time

Ledgerly uses AI to assist with categorisation and insights.

AI outputs:

• May not always be accurate
• Should not be considered financial or tax advice
• Must be reviewed by the user before use

Ledgerly is not responsible for decisions made based on AI suggestions.

Ledgerly is not an accounting firm or tax advisor. We do not provide:

• Tax advice
• Legal advice
• Financial guarantees

You are responsible for ensuring your financial records are accurate and compliant.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Ledgerly is not liable for financial losses, tax penalties, or damages resulting from use of the Service
• Ledgerly is not responsible for downtime, data loss, or errors
• Your use of the Service is at your own risk

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

• Non‑payment
• Abuse or misuse
• Violation of these Terms

Upon termination, access to premium features ends immediately.

All content, branding, design, and software belong to Ledgerly.

You may not copy, resell, or distribute any part of the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
